A floor-standing screen: a free-standing totem for your business
A floor-standing screen, also called a totem or digital pillar, is a screen on a fixed stand that stands freely in the room. You choose it where you cannot hang anything: at a window that goes down to the floor, in a sales pavilion or in a corner of your premises. An installation partner from your region installs it. Will Impress takes care of the content, for €39 per screen per month on an annual contract.
What a floor-standing screen brings your business
A screen where there is no wall
A sales pavilion, a glass shopfront or an open space: a floor-standing screen stands where there is no wall.
Easy to move when your business changes
The screen is not fixed to anything. If your exhibition stand moves or you refurbish, you take it with you.
A screen for the corner where people wait
At the entrance, at the till or in a waiting area, a standing screen catches the eye, without any drilling.
What a floor-standing screen is
A floor-standing screen is a screen with a stand of its own. It is not attached to anything and can stand anywhere you have power. It is also called a totem, an advertising totem, a digital pillar or a free-standing screen. Most stand upright, like a poster, but there is also a landscape model.
When it is the right choice
You choose a floor-standing screen when there is no wall or window to hang it on. Think of a sales pavilion at a new development, a shop with a glass front down to the ground, a corner of your office or a waiting area. For an ordinary window, a screen that hangs on the wall is usually enough.
What the installation partner does
The partner visits you, chooses a model and a size that suit your space and sets the screen up securely. The partner connects it and makes sure the cable is not in the way. What the screen and its installation cost is in the partner's quote.
What Will Impress does
We take care of what is on the screen: the design in your house style, setting up what runs by itself and remote monitoring. You make later changes yourself in a few clicks, in your own account. If you would rather leave them to us, we make them for an extra fee, price on request. It costs €39 per screen per month, on an annual contract.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a floor-standing screen and a totem?
In practice, none. A totem is a floor-standing screen, usually upright and quite tall. The name varies from one supplier to another. Your partner explains the differences in model and size.
When should I choose a floor-standing screen rather than a screen on the wall?
When you cannot hang anything, when you want to be able to move the screen or when it has to stand in the middle of a space. If you have a suitable wall or a window, a screen mounted on it is often cheaper.
Does a floor-standing screen need to be anchored?
That depends on the model and the location. A standing screen must be stable, so the partner chooses a suitable base and fixes it where needed.
Does a floor-standing screen need a socket?
Yes, it needs power. During the visit, the partner looks at where it can be plugged in and how to keep the cable out of sight.
Can a floor-standing screen also stand outside?
An ordinary floor-standing screen cannot. Outside, you need a different device, built for rain and daylight. We arrange that through a partner, on request.
What does the content for a floor-standing screen cost?
€39 per screen per month, on an annual contract. You pay for the screen and its installation once, on a quote from an installation partner in your region.
