What is a digital shop window?

A digital shop window is a shop window display that shows what you sell, even after closing time, and that you change without rearranging your window. At Will Impress, it costs €39 per screen per month on an annual contract, with the design in your house style, remote monitoring and support included. You pay for the screen and its installation once, on a quote from an installation partner in your region.

What a digital shop window is

A digital shop window is a screen in your shop window, facing the street. It shows, one after another, what you would otherwise put on posters: what you sell, an offer, your opening hours. What you display stays where it is: the screen hangs between or next to it.

For all screens that show messages, there is the term digital signage. In Belgium and the Netherlands, you also hear narrowcasting. A digital shop window is the form that faces outwards, towards people walking past.

An ordinary indoor screen is not bright enough for a shop window. With sun on the glass, the image fades and the price can no longer be read from the street. A shop window display is made for that spot. You can read which screen suits your window on the screens page.

What it brings

Your shop window stays up to date. A new offer or a new price is on the screen without you rearranging the window. For an estate agency, that happens by itself: a new property is in the shop window within a few hours, and a sold property disappears.

Your shop window also works after closing time. Anyone walking past in the evening or on a Sunday sees what you offer and your opening hours, until the time you choose.

One window shows several messages. Where a poster has one message, the screen alternates your collection, your offer and your opening hours, in the order you choose.

You no longer print anything. You do not have posters made, and you do not have to put them up and take them down again when the offer is over.

What a digital shop window costs

At Will Impress, a digital shop window costs €39 per screen per month, on an annual contract. That includes the design in your house style, the updates, remote monitoring and personal support. For an estate agency, the integration with your agency software is included too.

You pay for the screen and its installation once. That price is set by an installation partner in your region, because every shop window is different: the size of the window, the light and the way the screen is mounted determine which screen fits. You receive the partner's quote together with our proposal.

At the start, we set up everything that can run by itself, such as your opening hours. After that, you add a new offer or photo to the screen yourself, in a few clicks. If you would rather leave that to us, we do it as a paid extra, with a price on request. What we make for you and what you do yourself is explained on the content creation page. Exactly what the monthly price includes is on the pricing page.

Who it is for

  • Real estate: an estate agency shows its properties, straight from the agency software it already uses.
  • Shops: a boutique, pharmacy, travel agency or office shows its collection, its offers, its opening hours or the duty pharmacy.
  • Hospitality: a café or restaurant shows its dish of the day and its suggestions in the window, for people walking past.
  • Healthcare: a GP, dental or veterinary practice gets a screen in the waiting room, with the opening hours and where patients can go outside opening hours.

How to start

You request a proposal. We will contact you within two working days, and then we visit you with an installation partner from your region. The partner measures your window, looks at where the light comes from and advises a screen.

We design the screen in your house style and prepare the first images. The partner mounts it. From then on, we monitor the screen remotely, and if something stops working, we usually notice before you do. How that works step by step is explained on the how it works page.
